WE ARE THE DAMNED from lisbon, have been for while now, a name to add to the list of bands like BLACK BREATH or TRAP THEM or the latest ROTTEN SOUND, bands with a high influence by the sound created in the early 90's by ENTOMBED: swedish old school death metal guitar sound, crust-punk, death n' roll,...

WE ARE THE DAMNED are not new in the musical scene, some of their members has been playing or play in bands like TWENTY INCH BURIAL or MORE THAN A THOUSAND.

WE ARE THE DAMNED's first album "the new shape of hell to come" came out in 2008. at the begining they were a female fronted band , with this formation they toured in U.K. and Sweden, later came changes in the band: the singer left the band and ricardo correira guitarrist took the place of the singer, and ricardo cabrita from MORE THAN A THOUSAND joined as guitarrist. with this formation the re-recorded their debut album with the tittle of "resurrection plague" in 2010. released by ranging planet the album had a much more raw and brutal sound that could place the band close to BLACK BREATH without any problem.

their second album "holy beast" came out last april, released by the german label bastardized records (DARKEST HOUR among others). being faster and more blasting than the first album, is continious with the raw and evil crust-death n'roll just comparable, again, to main bands in this moment like the americans BLACK BREATH or similars.
